Trouble Connecting to Your GrowthVerticals SFTP Account? If a GrowthVerticals team member has created an SFTP account for you but you're having trouble logging in, this guide will help you get connected quickly and securely.
Logging In for the First Time
Login page: https://sftp.growthverticals.com/web/client/login
Username: Your email address —
always lowercase
Password: The first time you log in, you will be prompted to reset your password. You’ll receive a password-reset email from info@growthverticals.com.
If you don’t see the email, check your spam/junk folder. Important
Tip: Make sure you're on the
Client Login page,
not the admin login page. You should see
“SFTP Client Login” above the username field.
Using SSH Keys (Optional)If you prefer connecting with an SSH key:
Log in through the web client.
Go to
Profile (Top right corner of the page after login)
Add your
public SSH key.
Once saved, you can connect to the SFTP using your key instead of a password. This is only for the SFTP connection, not for the web app. You will still need to use your username (email) and password to access the web client.
Connecting via an SFTP Client
After setting your password, you can connect using any SFTP client.
Connection details:
Host: sftp.growthverticals.com
Port: 2222 (Note:
not the usual port 22)
Protocol: SFTP
Username: Your email address (lowercase)
Password or SSH Key: Depending on what you’ve chosen
Recommended SFTP Clients
Cyberduck — macOS & Windows
https://cyberduck.io
WinSCP — Windows
https://winscp.net
FileZilla — macOS, Windows, Linux
https://filezilla-project.org
Any of these tools allow easy drag-and-drop file upload and folder navigation.
Understanding Your Folder Structure
Your access determines which folders you see once connected.
Creative Access
If your organization is, for example,
Google, you will see: /
google/creatives/
Upload all creative assets into the
Creatives folder.
Data Push Access
If you're also approved for data uploads, you will see an additional folder: /
google/data/
Upload files intended for GrowthVerticals processing into the
data folder.
